San Diego Cooperative Charter School relies on everyone to make decisions that affect the school. The Principal, the teachers and the parents all interact with each other to effectively govern school operations.

We have an elected Board of Directors, including non-parent community members, that normally meets the third Tuesday of every other month at 5 p.m. Agendas are posted on the school office door 72 hours in advance of the meeting. To subscribe to have the agenda sent to you on-line, please click here.

According to the Charter, the Board's major roles and responsibilities include establishing and approving all major educational and operational policies, approving all major contracts, approving the school's annual budget and overseeing the school's fiscal affairs, approving the school's personnel policies and monitoring their implementation, selecting and evaluating the top staff of the school, and all other responsibilities provided for in the Bylaws or the Charter necessary to ensure the proper operation of the school.
